Your Resident Alien

 So far in 2026 a show I have watched is Resident Alien.

I think my dad got me into it.

It is truly hilarious and has some solid supporting characters. But Tudyk steals the show as the damn alien.

He is so goofy and out of touch with the humans. But he has some empathy when not trying to murder them.

It reminds me of an old book. My Teacher is an Alien, by Bruce Coville. In where if I recall- the kids that go to that school find their teacher is an alien. Also in that book I don't recall if that alien does destroy Earth.

The story in Resident Alien can be cheesy but it is not bad. I am invested. I want to see the hijinx that Harry will get into and the friends he will talk to. And I adore Asta she is fantastic. And she is really smart and beautiful being from some unknown tribe in Patience, CO. This show is pretty neat. 

I knew it was filmed in Canada. But that is my new obsession. The writing is really fun actually!

I am on season 2 and I am cutting through fairly quickly. 

Harry sometimes feels like destroying Earth will be great joy, but in doing so loses his human side. So he grapples. And that is kind of a really fun dynamic.

How did I get sick in friggin' May?

 I am a clerk now.

Having left the Mail Handler craft.

It is only week 2 and I am on shitty graves again. Honestly, why in the hell does it feel like there are never any days open / shift wise?

It is very hard coming back to graveyards. But so far I am doing okay. Sleeping during the day is I won't say brutal. I have been here before. Does my body know?

And let's just get this going! I have to do a key test and pass of 750 . I got 600 last night but my accuracy is not good enough. The unit seems to be fine so far. The work is a little nuts.

One person or two per 8-10 chutes? Are they nuts. Again it is the start of week 2. And I am already prolly getting pretty tired from the duties. IPP is very banal. I make sacks with hopefully someone else and pull them out and dispatch them. Have to learn all the zips.

Just hoping I make the right friends and not the wrong ones.
